Hacking the OpenStreetMap Geocoding System

Attention! According to the portal tulapressa.ru, the mapping service OpenStreetMap has been subjected to a hacker attack, after which some streets in Russian cities were renamed with obscene expressions. The FoodSoul platform uses the OpenStreetMap geocoding system by default for automatic geolocation determination and is not responsible for the informational content on the maps. OpenStreetMap is an open and publicly accessible service, and as such, undesirable data (spam) may appear, which we cannot control or influence. We ask for your understanding of the situation and to wait for the data to be corrected by the OpenStreetMap administrators.

If you wish, you can change the geocoding system in your FoodSoul personal account to DaData, Google, or Yandex services. Instructions for setting up geocoding: https://wiki.foodsoul.pro/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=84181259

Respectfully, the FoodSoul team
